My roommates are pissing me off >_>
Forget that I was angry in April because one of them lied to me, causing me to get stuck in a dorm instead of the apartments on campus. But now, we’re discussing room layouts, and I drew up some plans. They liked this one:
3 beds in one room, all of our other shit in the other room. Really? There’s 2ft of space to even walk INTO the room. And we’ll be sleeping 2-4ft from each other. That’s way too close for comfort for me. The whole reason I wanted to move into the apartments was because I’d get my own room; I can’t keep up with school work with two people in my face wanting to play games 24/7.
*THIS* is a decent proposal, in my opinion:
2:1 bed ratio. Each person gets ~10weeks in the single room. That’s 10 weeks during which I get what I wanted way back in April, and 20 weeks in a room that I can bear. And for them, who both do not like the idea of being “alone,” they get 20 weeks of being happy with 10 weeks of being in a bearable, if not preferable, situation.
And they don’t want to do it. It’s not as fun. It’s too much to switch the beds. Hi, we’ve rearranged furniture twice as much as that in a single semester! /rant
